# Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for authorised, safe use of Flowpane and connected websites.

## Authorised use

Use Flowpane only for lawful website governance and related work you are authorised to perform. Obtain and retain any client permission needed to monitor, crawl or modify a site or connect a system. Respect access restrictions and third-party terms. Verification does not grant permission to act for a site owner.


## Prohibited activity

- Unauthorised access, credential sharing, impersonation, fraud, phishing, malware or attempts to obtain another customer's data.
- Denial of service, disruptive scanning, spam, harassment, unlawful discrimination or exploitation, or material that infringes others' rights.
- Bypassing security, entitlement, plan, rate or capacity controls, or using the service to evade a site's restrictions.
- Submitting passwords, private keys, payment-card data or other sensitive material that is unnecessary for the task, including in AI prompts or support examples.
- Reselling or transferring Flowpane accounts or access contrary to the [EULA](/eula). Agency client work permitted by the EULA remains allowed.

## Reporting and protective action

Report suspected misuse to assist@flowpane.com and vulnerabilities through the [Security disclosure policy](/security-disclosure). Do not investigate by accessing other customers' data. We may investigate and take proportionate protective action under the applicable agreement, including restricting activity that threatens others or the service.
